S-a-t-u-r-d-a-y, Alright!

This house.

The bathtub is the longest and deepest i have seen in a home. A soaking morning bath is well deserved.

After a trip to the Burien Fred Meyer to get coffee at SBUX, we are back home. Jenny and I are heading to REI for some last minute purchases for my trip, and then I will be home to pack.

I learned late last night that Jenny's godmother is in town to attend Bea's service, and so I am making a pork tenderloin for dinner for the meat eaters, and some likely god awfully bland tofu dish for the rest of the crew.  I am fairly convinced tofu may be a mind control agent making young people who partake of it believe the world would be all sunshine and lollipops if we abolished the police.

Dinner is almost done.  I'm mostly packed, with just a few more things to buy, which I will do at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Weekends have me more tired than weekdays.

I got a peek at the map of our trek.  Dave said it would be easy. Just the elevation climb is enough to put the fear of God into me.  We will leave a car at each end of the trail and hike 8 or 9 miles day one and probably 10 miles on days two and three so we can have two days in one spot before finishing on day 6, which according to Dave is all downhill.  Thrilled.

    1. Safe journeys. Safe. Though we are all on an age journey as well, I suppose.
